BOOSEY & HAWKES/RUDALL CARTE WOODWIND SERIAL NUMBERS 73 Compiled by Gavin Dixon based on research by Gavin Dixon and Neil Raj The following graph gives production dates for woodwind instruments produced by Boosey & Hawkes with serial numbers above 68956. ![]() Description: The Galpin Society Journal is published annually, and contains articles, reviews, correspondence and notes and queries on all aspects of musical instruments, in support of the aim of the Society - the publication of original research into the history, construction, development and use of musical instruments. Articles, which are refereed before publication, are welcome from members and non-members of the Society. Since 2003 the journal has been published at A4 format (8¼ x 11¾ inches) and generally runs to about 250 - 300 pages with a color photo supplement. The 'moving wall' represents the time period between the last issue available in JSTOR and the most recently published issue of a journal. Moving walls are generally represented in years. In rare instances, a publisher has elected to have a 'zero' moving wall, so their current issues are available in JSTOR shortly after publication. License key genymotion. Note: In calculating the moving wall, the current year is not counted. For example, if the current year is 2008 and a journal has a 5 year moving wall, articles from the year 2002 are available. Terms Related to the Moving Wall Fixed walls: Journals with no new volumes being added to the archive. Absorbed: Journals that are combined with another title. Complete: Journals that are no longer published or that have been combined with another title. I was wondering if anyone could help me please. I have just come across an old flute that I acquired during high school. I have tried googling it to get an idea of what it is worth (if anything) but I can't find any information anywhere. It is a Rudall Carte & Co Graduate series 80 with the serial number: 487746. From what I could find out, the company was taken over in 1950-60s? So it must be older than that. I have read that flutes tend to depreciate in value as they age but from auctions I have seen, the prices they sell for are very variable. ![]() I can't compare to any others on ebay as there are none listed. Any info that could be provided would be much appreciated.
